Description
RockTape Kinesiology Tape is a versatile and affordable tool for supporting the body’s natural healing process and extending therapy after sessions. It doesn’t limit mobility and its effects are immediate, suitable for both professional and independent use.
Distinguished by its ultra-strong waterproof adhesive, RockTape kinesiology tapes are perfect for water sports enthusiasts. With an exceptional stretch capacity of nearly 180%, these tapes are commonly used by athletes.
RockTape tape adheres for 2–7 days, offering robust, ingredient-free, stabilizing, and supporting benefits. One five-meter tape roll serves 5–10 applications. The tape’s pattern and color have no impact on its healing properties.
Kinesiology tape installation and removal:
For optimal application, it’s recommended to have a specialist like a physiotherapist or masseur apply the kinesiology tape. However, if you are familiar with the principles of tape placement, you can successfully do it yourself.
When preparing for physical activity, apply the tape to your body at least 20-30 minutes before the workout. Begin by identifying the targeted muscle. Then, choose the appropriate width and length of kinesiology tape for the muscle – typically, a 5-centimeter wide tape works for most muscles. Round the ends of the tape to ensure better adhesion. Remove any hair and clean the area where you plan to apply the tape.
Position the muscle in a stretched state. Make sure not to stretch the tape itself; place the tape on the stretched muscle in its normal state to prevent skin damage. Rub the tape slightly to improve adhesion. Once applied correctly, wrinkles will form on the tape when the muscle returns to its normal position. Keep the tape on your skin for 2-7 days.
Thanks to the fabric and heat-activated acrylic adhesive, the skin can breathe beneath the tape, minimizing the risk of allergic reactions. If you experience itching or notice skin irritation after applying the tape, remove it immediately.
To remove the tape, hold the skin with one hand and gently and slowly pull the tape off with the other hand. Avoid removing the RockTape Kinesiology Tape abruptly to prevent skin irritation.
